FOUNDER’s STORY

— Mike TysonI love that quote. Not because it's deep, but because it's real.
Right now, I'm an expecting father. I'm currently in that "planning" phase — reading the books, prepping the nursery, and trying to wrap my head around how much my life is about to change.
But I'm not naive. I know that once my son arrives, the plans go out the window and the "punches" start coming. I've watched enough fathers to know that parenting is a series of 3-punch combos — sometimes three times a day. You have to learn to roll with them, get back up, and strive to be better than you were yesterday. It's the most rewarding work there is, but from what I've seen, it can be a lonely one if you're doing it solo.
I didn't want to wait until I was in the trenches to find my unit. I wanted to build it now.
I created Dadtru for two reasons:
1. The Power of the Unit
History proves that we leave a bigger impact when we work together. Think of the 300 Spartans. They fended off thousands — not because they had the numbers, but because they worked as a unit to protect their families. I'm building that same collective of fathers before I even step into the arena. Imagine what a focused group of men can accomplish when we move together.
2. A Legacy for My Son
In a world full of chaos, I want to be sure I'm doing my part to create a better world for my son. I realized that the more dads I can support and learn from, the more children I can indirectly influence. That is how I'm building a legacy for my boy before he even takes his first breath.
